Our CEO, Prof. Dr. Frank Rösch was honored with the 2022 Hevesy Medal Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to radiochemistry, especially for the development of production methods for metallic radionuclides and their innovative integration for theranostic applications in medicine, as well as for his pioneering role in the introduction of the theranostic concept for radiometals.

The George Hevesy Medal Award is the premier international award of excellence in radioanalytical and nuclear chemistry. It is named after George Charles de Hevesy who won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1943 for his key role in the development of radioactive tracers to study chemical processes such as in the metabolism of animals. At opening session of the 19th Radiochemical Conference (RadChem 2022) in Mariánské Lázne (Czech Republic) on the 15th of May 2022 the HMA 2022 ceremony took place and the engraved bronze medal together with a certificate were awarded to Prof. Dr. Rösch.

His contributions to science and technology have laid the foundation for the success of our nuclear medicine products. We congratulate Dr. Frank Rösch warmly for this award as family and colleagues.
